Pope’s plan blocks our potential to reach union with God

If you have missed the Pope’s Video Message titled “Message of His Holiness Pope Francis for the Launch of the Educational Alliance” please read its transcript now, before you read my comments. (Reinventing the Global Educational Alliance)1

On September 12, 2019 Pope Francis invited “everyone” (that includes you and me) to a global event, to take place on May 2020 in the Paul VI Audience Hall in the Vatican, on the theme “Reinventing the Global Educational Alliance.” He does not indicate the time. The scope: To seek solutions to change history “for the building of a better world.”

An ambitious plan, don’t you think? I mean to improve God’s creation. Of course we know that this world is not as “good” as it was when God created it, so perhaps we can improve it. But how? Well, I’m an Orthodox Christian. From what I have learned, I change the world starting from myself, because I am responsible for its mess anyhow. Then all together, as members of the Ecclesia established by Christ the Son of God, and by the grace of the Holy Spirit, we struggle to establish God’s Kingdom on earth, fulfilled in the life to come.

However, the Pope’s message is not a call to “build up the Church, the Body of Christ” (Eph. 4:12). What lies at the heart of his invitation is to place at the center of our lives “the human person,” instead of the Theanthropos Jesus Christ, and substitute our faith in life eternal with the “dream of humanism.” He dares calling his diabolic plan “God’s plan.” Far from “heal[ing] the fracture between man and the Absolute[?]” and the separation between “reality and the transcendent,” this plan blocks our potential to reach union with almighty God.

A Roman Catholic author reminds us that, “In his very first homily as pope, Francis warned the men who had just elected him against the futility of good works that don’t proclaim Christ: ‘We can build many things, but if we do not profess Jesus Christ, things go wrong.’”2 Alas, he did not heed his own warning, turning his attention to the establishment of Antichrist, whose instrument he has become.

Like the chief priest, Pope Francis has spoken prophetically when he added, “When we do not profess Jesus Christ, we profess the worldliness of the devil, a demonic worldliness.” The same author quoted above adds: “Now, in this moment of crisis, is not the time to set aside the work of evangelization in order to deal with seemingly more pressing problems: ‘Let the dead bury their own dead. You go and proclaim the Kingdom of God.’”

Alas, Pope Francis has forgotten that apart from the Lord we can do nothing (cf. John 15:5). He works for globalism and the establishment of a world order without Christ. One of his bishops said, “We can’t change the world by ourselves. And we can’t reinvent the Church. But we can help God change us. We can live our faith with zeal and conviction – and then God will take care of the rest.”3 Pope Francis has already moved beyond a fresh “aggiornamento,” embracing an era of liberalism, modernism and secularism. We are already beyond Karl Rahner’s “open Church.” Freemasonry has won.

The first among the Lord’s Disciples, and “first Pope,” failed his Master, despite, or rather on account of his confidence, and betrayed Him. He nevertheless turned around and repented. Will the present Pope realize his betrayal, and repent, shedding abundant tears?

This is the danger of being first, when you don’t have the humility to humble yourself in repentance. Peter turned around, as His Master had foretold. Will his “successor” do the same? Unfortunately, far from “strengthening his brothers” Peter’s successor betrays them. He resembles more and more another first, Lucifer: “How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!” (Is. 14:12 NIV)

Indeed the vision of this Pope is on earth and about the earthly, instead of being on God and the divine. Instead of raising his eyes, his mind and his efforts to what is lasting and eternal, he keeps them low to what is ephemeral and passing. He is preoccupied with the life that is fleeting to “the life that is life indeed” (1 Tim 6:19). Instead of uniting Christ’s people for the establishment of His Kingdom on earth, he attempts to unite them without Him.

Peter the first of the Apostles, of whom he claims to be the successor, puts us on guard:

“There will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their licentiousness, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled.” (2 Pet. 2:1-2)

Isn’t he denying Christ, Whom he names only once in a quotation, when he presents to us a view of the world that leaves the gospel of the Lord out, who wants to save the world without the Savior, when faith in the divine truth is replaced by human ideologies?

So, why are we preoccupied with the Pope? Because that’s the direction our Orthodox Church is taking, led by the Ecumenical Patriarch. I would like to see him condemn this document, and publicly reject the Pope’s invitation, declaring clearly and decisively that he will not be a participant of this godless global alliance that ignores God, and replaces the Gospel of Christ with that of Antichrist.
